Students across the school are engaging in fun and dynamic activities. Students will learn and practise effective learning behaviours, social skills and critical thinking skills. Some examples of learning topics may include; effective questioning, growth mindset, metacognition or 'thinking about thinking', forming and maintaining friendships, and strategies for managing setbacks. Students will also learn and become familiar with class routines and expectations. They will particularly focus on the Personal and Social Capability and the Critical and Creative Thinking Capability from the Victorian Curriculum, but will also maintain focus and learning in English and Mathematics.
